We are a dedicated 10-person walking team raising money for The Princess Margaret Hospital Cancer Foundation’s 2027 "Journey" project as well as other PMCF projects. We walk in honor of Deidre Veit—a beloved daughter, wife, sister, mom, daughter-in-law, and friend—who we lost in November 2023 to a rare Small Round Blue Cell Sarcoma.
We also walk in honour and memory of Ryan Heighton who passed away in December 2023 from brain cancer.
We also honour and remember Richard Howlett who passed away in October 2020 of throat cancer, Steve Howlett who passed away in February 2016 of lymphatic cancer, Leslie Schunk who passed away in 2010 of brain cancer, and Lorna & Morgan McCluskey who passed away in 2007 & 2008 of Lung cancer.
